During COVID Fruit Baskets Orders will be dispatched Mondays & Wednesdays only
Orders must be placed before 9am on Mondays or Wednesdays for same day DISPATCH
NOTE: Dispatch means leaving our HQ on that days courier service, NOT same day delivery...see below for delivery guidelines but be ready for some delays depending on courier capacity during Covid please, Unfortunately we cannot control operations once couriers have our parcels it is in the hands of the couriers, but as always we do guarantee the quality of your fruit basket and will refund or replace if any issues in quality.
We will always do our best to meet your delivery goals, but with increasing Courier volumes we have noticed some delays with deliveries, please be ready for this when placing your orders.
At Fruit Baskets we personally select your fruit fresh for every order from our suppliers to ensure the highest quality. This puts our team at extra risk collecting your fruit, plus with slower deliveries, despite our best efforts sometimes a fruit basket sits in the heat at courier depots over the weekend.
To minimise risks of fruit spoilage due to slower couriers and risks to our team during COVID we will only be dispatching orders on Mondays and Wednesdays, we appreciate your understanding during this time.
Courier delivery terms have also changed with ALL orders having authority to leave to ensure no personal contact when signing for a parcel, please DO NOT walk up to couriers to collect parcels off them, let them place it on your step and wait till they walk away before collecting them.
If you are not around when a courier delivers they will of course ensure parcels are left in a safe place or collection cards left in your mail if no safe place
we appreciate your help in keeping everyone safe, look after yourself, practice social isolation where possible and thank you so much for supporting us during this difficult time.
1 – During COVID Fruit Baskets Orders will be dispatched Mondays & Wednesdays only
Orders must be placed before 9am on Mondays or Wednesdays for same day dispatch
*IMPORTANT NOTE: Orders received after Wednesdays 9am will not be packed and dispatched till the following Monday, orders after 9am Monday will not be packed and dispatched until Wednesday to minimise the risk of fruit spoilage.
Orders outside - Metropolitan Newcastle, Woolongong, Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne may take longer.
There may be some delivery locations which we may not be able to deliver to due to the risk of fruit spoilage, we will contact you asap if there is an issue to discuss alternatives.
2 – All orders are fulfilled using Fastway Couriers.
Some local Sydney deliveries may use our in house couriers, otherwise deliveries will be carried out by Fastway.

3 – Delivery Address
Deliveries are made during business hours, so please provide a business address if possible.
Delivering to someone else? You will be able to enter their delivery address at the second stage of the shopping cart.
If you prefer a home address, please note your fruit basket will be left unattended in a safe, shady, protected place at the home address.
Deliveries to hospitals require a ward number and if possible bed number. Please be certain that the recipient will be present on the next day delivery date (ie, if you order on Monday, please be sure that the recipient will still be in hospital for the delivery on Tuesday)
4 – Delivery Fee is FREE – FruitBaskets.com.au does not add extra for delivery.
Please note we only deliver FREE to Sydney, Newcastle, Central Coast and Wollongong.
Outside of this area is determined by Fastway’s delivery areas and attracts an extra fee.
5 – Please add any delivery comments or extra details when you place your order.
There is space for this in Delivery Comments – for example leave at back door, or leave on porch, or similar. We will add this comment to the mail form, so the courier will be able to read it for delivery.
